Joyce is the Artisitic Director and founder of Dancephysics. She is an experienced dance teacher and movement specialist working in a range of genres from Jazz Dance, Contemporary and Ballet. She has taught one off workshops and long-term courses for actors, dancers and dance enthusiasts. Joyce provides a safe, fun and nurturing environment for students of all abilities. She is best known for her passion for the jazz dance genre and has studied the Mattox technique, Tap, Lindy Hop and the Luighi Jazz dance tecnhique with Luighi himself. Her passion for the technqiue has lead her to undertake research, which has attracted support from organisations such as DAD (Dance of African Diaspora) formally known as ADAD.
Joyce has taught for a range of companies and insititutions including
Laban, Morley College, City University, Greenwich Dance outreach programmes, Greenwich Musical Theatre,Hackney Community College, Lewisham College, Dance foundation and Touring Company, Lewisham Council (Black History Month Events, Westminster Academy, Paddington Academy, Tower Hamlets Adult learning programme and Foundation Course, National Portrait Gallery, Showroom Gallery, Stagecoach Performing Arts. Joyce is currently Jazz Dance Lecturer at Morley College and Lewisham Southwark College.
