Education Policy
Dance Physics' policy is to promote participation in dance and other forms of physical activity as a stimulating and creative pursuit within schools and community settings. Collectively the directors bring in excess of thirty years experience in dance performance, choreography, education and collaborative projects.

The company is available to lead a programme of education work UK wide in a variety of settings from schools, colleges, universities and community-based schemes.

Workshops and residencies are designed to enable people of all ages to express themselves through the medium of dance. Workshops are tailor made to fit the individual requirements of each organisation. Residencies may consist of workshops, classes and performance by the company.

We offer a variety of dance styles and techniques encompassing co-ordination and rhythm, structured exercises to develop technique and performance skills.

The company directors and team of associate artists deliver workshops and residencies within a supportive learning environment.

All artists have up to date enhanced CRB checks and public liability insurance.

Workshops are between two and four hours, while residencies can be three days to four weeks in duration. Our programme covers a wide range of curriculum topics as well as health and fitness.

"I can't recommend a workshop/residency with Dance Physics highly enough! The expertise and experience that the tutors bring with them is invaluable for all students (as well as the staff!), and their approach to teaching is always fresh and inspiring. The material and dance styles covered fully engage every participant and every workshop session will be tailor-made for to meet everyones needs. Definitely our best budget spend this year!"
